– Hello, my name is Wilbur and I am a Shetland pony. I am 15 years old and came to Luccombe with my lifelong friend who has since crossed over the rainbow bridge. I first lived in my carers garden 8 years ago, but I am now part of the pony herd here. I came to Luccombe because my previous owner was elderly and wanted to rehome me to make sure I was looked after properly. I am a very stubborn pony who likes to get my way and do what I love, which is of course eating. I enjoy being around people with low energy, otherwise I get too excitable and cause chaos! I used to be ridden by small children who stayed with my carers but I have since retired to a life of luxury.
