– Hi, my name is Rio and I am a falabella, which is a miniature horse. I am 4 years old and apparently that means I am still a baby. I came to Luccombe with my two older friends Mollie and Mouse. Mouse is my half-sister and she isn’t that much older than me, she is my best friend and I spend lots of time with her. My previous owners had a change in circumstance and could no longer care for me which is why I came here. I am very cheeky and find myself getting into trouble all the time. I am very curious and I like to explore anything new, whether it be a new field or a new water bottle that one of my carers has (I particularly like to steal these!) I love to play and often annoy my herd mates as I am the youngest member. My favourite thing in the world is cuddles and scratches from my carers and anyone else who offers! I am very kind and will groom people back when they give me a scratch in just the right place. I love going for pony walks with my people and I am very happy here at Luccombe.
