The Granary
Age Range: 8-16 years

The Granary is a beautifully purpose converted barn in Milborne St Andrew.
Included in the different learning spaces within the barn, there is a large art and craft area, a sensory area, a kitchen and communal seating area. The Granary also has a large garden with an allotment, a sensory garden and quiet outdoor space, as well as paddocks for our animals and areas for bushcraft and nature sessions.
We offer sessions in animal care, art and craft, cooking and life skills, bushcraft, gardening and nature, and mindfulness. We also offer Maths and English sessions, to help learners prepare for their next steps such as reintegrating with full time education, college placements or apprenticeships.
Working with both animals and people, The Granary focuses on a therapeutic approach to help learners to re-engage with peers and education. We challenge preconceptions and help our learners to change their mindset and feel more positive about their future aspirations.
