Welcome to Luccombe Hub, a nurturing environment dedicated to supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We aim to provide a tailored educational experience that fosters growth, confidence, and well-being for every learner who walks through our doors.

It’s important to note that Luccombe Hub is not a ‘behaviour’ school; rather, we specialise in catering to the unique requirements of children with SEMH needs. To ensure the best possible support, all learners must possess an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP). This EHCP must clearly designate a ‘Specialist School’, and funding must be agreed upon by the local authority or self-funded by parents.

We understand the significance of individual differences and the importance of creating a cohesive learning environment. Therefore, we do not maintain a waiting list. When considering admissions, we evaluate each child based on their specific needs and how they align with the existing cohort of children. This approach allows us to maintain a balanced and supportive community where every child can thrive.

It’s essential for parents to carefully consider whether Luccombe Hub is the right fit for their child based on their EHCP and individual requirements.

The Luccombe Hub is subject to our own policy for admissions. A copy of our policy can be found here.

At Luccombe Hub, we’re committed to empowering every child to reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally. If you believe your child could benefit from our specialised approach, we encourage you to reach out to us to learn more about our admissions process and how we can support your child’s journey towards success.
